The short version
JobSolve stores your job-search information on your own device. We don’t see it, we don’t sell it, and we don’t show ads.
Information stored on your device
Applications, contacts, notes, resumes, saved job postings, assignments and files you add are stored in your web browser’s storage (IndexedDB) on your device. They are not sent to us. You can download or erase them at any time from the Backup page.
Information sent to job sources
When the Job feed checks for jobs, your browser requests public job listings directly from the sources you enable (for example Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Jobicy and Remote OK). Those requests include your search terms and your IP address, and are covered by each source’s own privacy policy. We do not receive them.
Browser extension
The “Save this job” extension reads the page you are viewing only when you click it, and passes the job details to JobSolve in a new tab. It does not send data to us or track your browsing.
Purchases
Payments are handled by [payment provider], which receives your name, email, payment details and billing address. We receive your email, your license key and the purchase record, and use them only to provide your license and support.
Future features
Planned features such as sync, email alerts, a daily digest and AI tools will require sending some information to our servers or service providers. This policy will be updated, and you will be asked to opt in, before any of those features use your data.
Support emails
If you email us, we keep the conversation to help you and delete it within [period] after it is resolved.
Children
JobSolve is not intended for children under 16.
Your rights
